Description of HG Laminate Gloss Coating:
HG protective coating gloss finish is a unique and easy to apply polymer emulsion. This liquid emulsion forms a wafer-thin glossy yet extremely protective coating when it dries.
- Protects against wear and tear, scratches and other damages
- Masks faded patches and existing damage
- Gives shine
For laminated-wood floors.
Direction of use:
To prevent variations in the depth of shine, it is recommended that old
HG “laminate gloss coating” coats are removed before a new coat is applied. Use
HG “laminate powerful cleaner” for this purpose (undiluted). If HG “laminate gloss
coating” is being applied for the first time, always clean the floor thoroughly
beforehand (including new floors) using HG ” laminate powerful cleaner” (1:5). After
cleaning, allow the floor to dry completely before applying HG “laminate gloss
coating”. The best results are obtained by using a sponge squeegee mop over
which a plastic bag has been placed. The plastic bag should then be covered with a
clean, damp, lint-free (tea) cloth. Using a clean cloth, apply the HG “laminate gloss
coating” to several spots on the floor and then spread it out evenly in one direction
(do not allow the laminate shine to soak into the seams). Do not scrub or rub!
After approx. 45 minutes, the HG “laminate shine” will be dry and a second coat
(e.g. for extra shine or greater resistance) can be applied at right-angles to the first
coat. The coating will have hardened completely in 24 hours. Add one cap-full of
HG “laminate gloss coating” per litre of water and use this solution to wash/mop the
floor. Ensure that the floor cloth/mop is not too wet. Rinse out the floor cloth/mop
regularly in a bucket of clean water. Do not rinse or dry.
