Agglomerated marble is formed of marble or stone chips and dust. The binder can be epoxy or other resins.

In extreme cases, the wrong chemicals may result in cleaning marks (circular wiping or mop marks) are often obvious and can be seen across adjacent tiles.  This is because agglomerated marble is very a sensitive tile.

This article will guide you to cleaning and maintaining your Agglomerated Marble so that it will be in optimal condition and last longer.

How to Clean and Maintain Marble

Marble is relatively soft and porous, compared to granite. It is particularly sensitive to the acid, especially to the acid found in some fruits, wine and some general cleaning products. Spillages may therefore corrode the marble. As well as stains from the pigments in common foodstuffs such as coffee and curry powder make leave a mark on the marble surface.

Marble tiles are extremely versatile and perfect for both residential and commercial projects alike. In addition to flooring tiles, marble are often used as table tops (e.g. kitchen tops).
